Overview
This policy explains how cancellation, refunds, and service credits work for Vijaya Lakshmi Rank Sutra (VLRS) paid subscriptions—specifically the ₹499 test series subscription with one (1) year validity from activation.
Please read this together with our Terms & Conditions (including acceptance, content accuracy, and technology disclaimers). Content errors are addressed by correction where possible; they do not automatically create a refund unless this policy says so.
Subscription fee
Amount: ₹499 per subscription (unless a different amount is clearly displayed at checkout).
Validity: 365 days (one year) of access to the subscribed test series / features, unless stated otherwise on the payment screen.
Cancellation by you (after payment)
Once payment is successfully completed, subscription fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable except as expressly stated in the “Refund eligibility” section below.
This means:
- You cannot “cancel” the subscription in the sense of receiving your money back for a change of mind, non-usage, or dissatisfaction with difficulty level, unless we explicitly offer a promotional guarantee at checkout.
- Access is provided for the full paid validity period (one year) subject to these Terms and technical availability.
Refund eligibility — service failure on our side
If VLRS is unable to deliver the core online service due to reasons attributable to us—for example a prolonged server outage, platform shutdown, or extended suspension of services—we will follow the rules below.
Ninety (90) day continuous service failure
If substantially no usable service is available to you for a continuous period of ninety (90) days due to our fault (not your internet, device, or account misuse), and we have not restored service within that window, you may be eligible for a refund initiation as described below.
First three (3) months of your subscription only
This ninety-day refund pathway applies only if your paid subscription period has not yet completed three (3) months from the date of activation / successful payment.
- Example: If the failure occurs and the 90-day condition is met while you are still within the first three months of your one-year plan, we will process a refund request in good faith subject to verification.
After three (3) months
If you have already completed three (3) months of your subscription period, then no refund will be initiated by VLRS for service issues, outages, or incorrect behaviour—even if something goes wrong later. We may still attempt to restore access, extend time, or offer support at our discretion, but this does not create a right to a refund under this policy.
What does not qualify for a refund
- Change of mind after payment
- Not using the platform during the subscription period
- Local internet issues, power failure, or incompatible device/browser
- Loss of access due to violation of our Terms (e.g. account misuse, sharing, scraping)
- Minor downtime, scheduled maintenance announced in advance, or brief interruptions that do not meet the 90-day continuous failure test
- Issues arising after you have already used the service for more than three months, as stated above
How to request a refund (eligible cases)
- Email support@vltaacademy.com with subject line: Refund request — [your registered email].
- Include your registered mobile number, payment reference / transaction ID (if available), and a short description of the service failure.
- Our team will verify eligibility against payment records and server logs. Verification may take several business days.
- If approved, refunds will typically be returned to the original payment method or bank account where possible; timing depends on banks and payment partners (often 7–14 business days after approval, not guaranteed).
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Unfounded chargebacks may lead to account closure and recovery of costs where permitted by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
