Agreement
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, applications, and online test series operated by Vijaya Lakshmi Rank Sutra (“VLRS”, “we”, “us”). By registering, subscribing, or using our services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
If you do not agree, you must not use VLRS.
Your acceptance is required (sign up, log in, subscription)
You may only create an account, log in, or pay for a subscription if you have read and agree to these Terms and the policies linked above.
If you do not agree, you must not register, not sign up, not log in, and not purchase a plan—doing so without agreement is not permitted.
By checking the agreement box at sign-up (where provided), you confirm that you accept all applicable terms and policies. A paid subscription is offered only on the basis of this acceptance.
When you log in as an existing user, you confirm that you continue to accept the then-current Terms and policies as published on our website. Please review updates when we change the “Last updated” date.
Acknowledging these Terms—including the section on accuracy of content and technology below—helps avoid misunderstandings. We ask that you use the platform in that spirit.
Accuracy of content, technology, and reporting mistakes
VLRS’s materials (questions, explanations, passages, analytics text, and similar) are prepared and maintained using educational workflows, software, and technology (which may include automated or assisted tools). Despite review efforts, mistakes can occur: incorrect answers, typos, outdated facts, ambiguous wording, or other incorrect or incomplete information may appear from time to time due to many factors—including human error, system limits, third-party data, or unfortunate operational issues.
No warranty of perfect accuracy: Content is provided for learning and practice only. You should cross-check important facts (dates, figures, rules, syllabus points) against official sources, textbooks, or UPSC notifications.
Help us correct: If you notice an error or misleading item, please email support@vltaacademy.com with a clear description (question text, subject/chapter if known, and what you believe is wrong). Our team will review and, where appropriate, correct or update the content. We cannot guarantee a fixed timeline for every report, but we treat genuine reports seriously.
Reporting mistakes does not automatically entitle you to a refund; refund rules remain as stated in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Description of services
VLRS provides educational technology services including online practice tests, question banks, analytics, leaderboards, and related learning content for UPSC and school-level preparation. Features may change as we improve the platform.
Eligibility
You must be capable of entering into a binding agreement under Indian law. If you use VLRS on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@vltaacademy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Subscriptions and fees
Test series subscription: ₹499 (Indian Rupees) per subscription period.
Validity: One (1) year from activation for the subscribed plan, unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Prices, taxes, and plan details may be shown on the payment page. You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan. Failure to pay may result in suspension of access.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, scrape, redistribute, or resell our content or question bank without permission
- Attempt to hack, probe, or disrupt our servers, accounts, or other users
- Use the platform for unlawful, harassing, or misleading purposes
- Share your account with others in a way that violates fair use or commercial terms
- Reverse engineer or bypass our access controls
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
Intellectual property
All content, branding, software, and question materials on VLRS are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal, non-commercial learning during your valid subscription period.
Disclaimers
VLRS is an educational aid. We do not guarantee any exam rank, selection, or score. Content is provided “as is” and “as available,” including the possibility of errors described under Accuracy of content, technology, and reporting mistakes above. We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VLRS and its team shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to these Terms or the services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the subscription giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or ₹499, whichever is lower—unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VLRS from claims arising from your misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
Refund and cancellation
Payment and refund rules are described in our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or on-platform notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at the competent jurisdiction in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection laws.
